services >> injury rehabilitation

Suffering from an injury can be a really annoying and frustrating experience. Just ask anyone who has been there. Your mind is saying "I want to train," but sadly your body is saying, "I need more rest".

Injuries can come about in many different ways. It could be because of naïve training, it could have come about from an accident like falling over, or through playing a sport. Not warming up or cooling down correctly can also contribute to the risk of injury.

Or it might be a biomechanical problem, meaning your body is weaker, or not tracking in a certain area, which is placing undue stress on other areas. Over time this eventually will work its way to a pain threshold.

Pain is a good thing and sometimes we don’t realise it. Pain is your body’s way of talking back to you and letting you know something is not right. It is important to not mask this pain but to try to reduce it as quickly as possible.

Seeking help from physiotherapists, chiropractors and massage therapists can really speed up the process of healing. Doing your rehabilitation with a professional trainer will ensure you will heal as quickly and as safely as possible.
